I. Working Process
After the semi-finished product without vulcanization is loaded into the model, the model is placed in the gap between the two hot plates (for the non-model products such as tape and rubber plate, directly put between the hot plates). Then the hydraulic medium (oil or water) is put into the hydraulic cylinder, and the plunger pushes the movable platform and the hot plate up or down, and pushes the movable plate to press the die or product. During the above-mentioned movement, heating medium is passed through the heating plate at the same time, so that the model (or product) can obtain the pressure and temperature needed in the vulcanization process. After a period of time (vulcanization cycle), the product is vulcanized. At this time, the hydraulic medium in the hydraulic cylinder is excluded. As the plunger decreases under the action of its own weight (or the hydraulic pressure of the double-acting cylinder), the product can be removed.
Two, working principle
When the flat vulcanizer is working, the hot plate warms up the compound and crosslinks the rubber molecules. Its structure changes from linear structure to network structure. This is a product with certain physical and mechanical properties. However, when the compound is heated, it begins to soften. At the same time, the moisture and volatile substances in the compound need to be gasified. At this time, sufficient pressure is given by the hydraulic cylinder to make the compound full of mould. It also restricts the formation of bubbles and makes the structure of products compact. If it is a rubber layer product, it can make the adhesive and cloth adhere firmly. In addition, sufficient pressure is given to prevent the phenomenon of overflow, lack of glue pattern and pore sponge from appearing on the seam surface of the die.
